Trump Says Almost 300K Illegal Aliens Purged from Social Security Rolls

President Trump recently shared an update that’s going to get a lot of attention, especially from folks concerned about how taxpayer dollars are being used. Speaking at The Villages in Florida, he said his administration has removed roughly 300,000 illegal immigrants from Social Security rolls, along with another 100,000 from Medicare eligibility and he made it clear those numbers are still climbing.

He tied this directly to a broader push to protect benefits for American seniors. Trump highlighted policies like eliminating taxes on Social Security and pointed to what he called the “One Big, Beautiful Bill,” describing it as the largest tax cut in U.S. history. According to him, more than 51 million seniors are now paying zero in federal income taxes as a result.

From his perspective, this isn’t just about cutting costs it’s about cleaning up what he sees as widespread abuse in the system. He argued that Social Security had become vulnerable to fraud and said these actions are part of a larger effort to preserve it for the people who paid into it their whole lives.

Trump didn’t hold back when contrasting his approach with Democrats, accusing them of ignoring the issue while focusing their energy elsewhere. As usual, his criticism was blunt and unapologetic.

This isn’t the first time he’s raised the issue, either. Back in August 2025, he said over 200,000 ineligible individuals had already been removed from Social Security. Reports have also indicated that thousands of Social Security numbers previously issued to undocumented immigrants have been canceled as part of the crackdown.

Whether you agree with his tone or not, the core argument here is pretty straightforward: making sure programs like Social Security and Medicare are reserved for those legally entitled to them, while trying to stretch those resources further for American retirees.

  1. I agree with President Trump, 100% !!!!! The damn illegals are not eligible for Social Security, and our tax payer money should not be given to those who are not US citizens and who have not paid into the Social Security system, in the United States. Send those ill gals packing , back to where they came from, and let their home country support them.
