‘Round River’ FBI Op Was A Deep State Conspiracy To Thwart Investigation Into Biden Family Corruption

The more details that come out about this situation, the clearer it becomes that the real issue isn’t just the Biden family anymore. What’s raising serious concerns now is the role certain FBI agents and DOJ officials may have played in blocking or undermining an investigation that was supposed to look into corruption allegations tied to the former vice president and his family.

Back in 2020, then Attorney General William Barr assigned U.S. Attorney Scott Brady in Pittsburgh to review evidence connected to Ukrainian corruption and potential links to the Biden family. Brady later testified that his team was tasked with vetting information from various sources, including material provided by Rudy Giuliani and tips from members of the public. Part of that process involved searching FBI databases for key terms like “Burisma” and “Biden” to see what information already existed.

What Brady apparently did not know at the time was that the FBI had launched a separate internal operation called “Round River.” According to reports that surfaced recently, this operation was aimed at identifying and countering allegations about Biden family corruption. The troubling part is that the files connected to this investigation were reportedly placed in a “prohibited access” category inside the FBI’s case management system. That designation effectively made the files invisible to normal database searches.

If that’s accurate, it means the very prosecutors tasked with reviewing potential corruption evidence may never have been able to see some of the relevant material sitting inside FBI systems. Brady himself has said he had no knowledge that such an investigation existed while he was conducting the review ordered by Barr.

Senator Chuck Grassley has been raising concerns about this for years, based on information from whistleblowers. According to those accounts, FBI personnel at headquarters allegedly used an internal assessment in 2020 to label negative information about Hunter Biden as potential foreign disinformation. Grassley has also said that the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force used that process to search for confidential human source reports connected to the Biden family and dismiss them as disinformation.

If the whistleblower claims are accurate, the implications are serious. Reports indicate that at one point the FBI had dozens of confidential sources providing information related to Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and James Biden. Allegedly shutting down investigative leads by labeling them as foreign propaganda would raise major questions about whether political considerations influenced law enforcement decisions.

There’s also concern that the scope may have extended beyond internal investigations. Some sources claim the effort included monitoring journalists, lawmakers, filmmakers, and others who raised questions about Biden family business dealings in Ukraine. If that happened, it would touch directly on core constitutional protections like freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

Another layer to the story involves the communication between federal agencies and social media companies during that same period. Members of the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force were reportedly in regular contact with platforms like Twitter about alleged foreign disinformation. Critics argue that if legitimate reporting or political speech about the Biden family was swept into that category, it could have contributed to censorship during a highly sensitive election period.

At this point, the focus is shifting toward transparency and accountability within federal institutions. The core question isn’t simply whether the Biden family faced allegations. In politics, allegations happen all the time and should be investigated fairly. The real issue is whether government agencies applied the law evenly or whether they stepped in to suppress information and halt legitimate investigative work.

Senator Grassley has been pushing for the release of documents related to these matters for years. Recently, newly declassified materials have reportedly begun reaching Congress through FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi. As more documents come out, lawmakers and the public will likely get a clearer picture of how these decisions were made.

At the end of the day, trust in federal law enforcement depends on the public believing that investigations are handled impartially, regardless of who is involved politically. If agencies were used to protect one side while targeting critics or suppressing information, that would represent a serious breach of the principles that are supposed to guide our justice system. Accountability and transparency will be essential if confidence in those institutions is going to be restored. 🇺🇸⚖️
