Clay Fuller recently expressed his gratitude to President Donald Trump after receiving what he called “the honor of a lifetime” Trump’s endorsement in the race for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District.
President Trump announced his support on Truth Social, backing Fuller, the current District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, to fill the House seat that became vacant earlier this year. The district was previously represented by Marjorie Taylor Greene, who chose to step away from Congress following a very public fallout with Trump after years of being one of his strongest allies.
In his endorsement, Trump praised Fuller as a true “America First” conservative, highlighting his background as both a prosecutor and an Air National Guard officer. Trump emphasized that Fuller understands what it takes to defend the country, support the military and veterans, and maintain peace through strength. He also laid out a policy vision that will sound familiar and welcome to most Republican voters: growing the economy, cutting taxes and excessive regulations, promoting American-made products, unleashing U.S. energy production, securing the southern border, cracking down on migrant-related crime, protecting election integrity, expanding school choice, and defending the Second Amendment.
Trump also noted that Fuller has strong backing from respected MAGA figures in Georgia and support from Republican members of Congress, making it clear that this endorsement wasn’t casual or symbolic. He called it his “complete and total endorsement” and said Fuller would not let voters down.
Fuller responded quickly and enthusiastically, thanking Trump and saying the endorsement was deeply meaningful to him. He pledged to fight for Georgia’s 14th District and said the mission to put America first is only beginning.
The special election to replace Greene is scheduled for March 10, as confirmed by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. If no candidate wins an outright majority, the top two vote-getters will move on to a runoff election set for April 7, 2026.
For conservative voters in northwest Georgia, this race is shaping up to be an important test of whether the district continues on a firm America First path. With Trump’s endorsement, Clay Fuller is clearly being positioned as the candidate to carry that torch forward.
