During the State of the Union on Tuesday, President Trump put a simple question to Democrats: do you believe Americans should come first, or do illegal aliens get priority? As expected, not a single Democrat in the chamber stood.
Later in the week, Fox News asked Senators Ron Wyden, Mazie Hirono, and Mark Kelly to clarify where their priorities lie. Their silence spoke louder than any words. Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger also chose to dodge the question rather than say where she stands. This pattern suggests that putting Americans first may no longer be a principle embraced by the Democratic Party.
Democrat Senators Wyden, Hirono and Kelly are asked directly if they prioritize American citizens over illegals.

There’s a saying among conservatives: a politician’s refusal to answer is an answer in itself. Democrats can try to deflect or stay quiet, but their actions reveal their priorities. Many Republicans believe videos like these should be shown on repeat through Election Day to hold these politicians accountable.
For instance, Senator Hirono rarely speaks confidently without a script, and even then, she struggles to convey a clear position. It’s telling that such a fundamental question whether you put your own citizens first is met with evasion.
Every American should ask themselves this: if our elected leaders won’t prioritize us over those here illegally, then whose interests are they really serving? Democrats seem increasingly out of touch with the very people they were elected to represent.
